The Time Sleuth is a lag testing device. It allows you to see the processing time in takes your TV to display an image. It works with OLED, Plasma, LCD and even CRTs with adapters.
There are five selections for output resolutions: 480i / 480p / 720p / 1080i / 1080p
You can also use VGA & YPbPr Lagess convertors to test analog inputs.
The on screen display allows you to see the Current, Min/Max and Average lag time displayed in Milliseconds.

EC Dear RetroRGB Team, I have purchased the Lag Tester and we are happy with the results. I wanted to ask if it is necessary to calibrate the lag tester? If yes, how often?
If not, should we always perform a reference measurement in parallel as for example always with the same CRT monitor?

Brandon R This little thing is SUPER cool! I've gone through all my displays and know exactly how much latency they have. It turns out my cheap TCL TV set only has 4ms of added latency in game mode! Now i know it's only my fault if I suck at games. ;)
