Skip Amazon, get this instead for your OG Famicom

After buying and returning an absurdly light weight (read, bad quality, no protections) power supply from Amazon, I decided to get something from a reputable seller.

This power supply works perfectly for the original Famicom (with the polarity switcher!) and powers the device while the power supply and the system both stay cool.

The 10V power supply for the Famicom gets stepped down to 5V, so using a 9V power supply is no problem with the system, even with power hungry cartridges like the Everdrive N8 Pro.

Quite simply, don't gamble on Wishazon; get something that works.

It works!

This is much smaller and lighter than the OEM power adapter for my SNES. See attached photo. It weighs only about 100 grams whereas the OEM power adapter is a whopping 430 grams!
